'Oh for a muse of Fire - !' Globe Education at Shakespeare's Globe and the #tinyshakes

What has 20 sides, is 100 ' across, seats 1,500 people, has hundreds of years of history, and can be beamed into your classroom or living room? The answer is of course Shakespeare's Globe, which is now working side by side with Montgomery County Community College, the classes of the Theatre Arts program, and Montgomery County through the PHENOMENAL work of the Globe Education team.

Starting today, and through to 4 November, 2016- Globe Education is making educational videos available to students at MCCC and engaged community members who want to know more about their world. You can click on the links below and be taken to two videos produced by Globe Education -

...and have access to this remarkable site, its history, and the artists who bring to life the works of Shakespeare and more. What's more, you can take part in a Write in Q & A Session, which will be broadcast from Shakespeare's Globe November 8 -23rd, 2016. Send your questions about Shakespeare's Globe to: mwhistle@mc3.edu ...and be sure to include #Globe in the subject line. I'll be drawing from these questions to create a question and answer session with Colin Hurley, a teaching artist and actor here at Shakespeare's Globe. #tinyshakespeare hopes you'll join in- and explore these other interactive tools created by Globe Education to explore The Globe and Shakespeare's works:
